What to expect
Participants learn how miso is made — from koji to fermentation timelines — while mixing their own small batch to take home. We dive into the flavour chemistry of umami and how miso enhances balance, texture, and savoriness in both cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Through guided tastings and demonstrations, participants discover how fermented savoury elements unlock entirely new drink styles.
Take-home: Your own small batch of miso to take home and continue fermenting, plus the knowledge to use miso creatively in drinks and cooking.
